Ellie has been riding for 6 years and has done a lot from showing and 4-h to just trail riding. She would love to own draft horses and drive wagons in the future as well as own a couple horses and get back into showing. She had recently wrapped up a horsemanship internship at CranHill Ranch and was looking for a job in the horse world. Ellie grew up in the Middleville-Caledonia area and was aware of Legacy Stables, but never thought much of it until Celeste Fisk, our barn manager, reached out to her. Ellie worked with Celeste and her husband previously and was excited to check out the position. Ellie started working at Legacy Stables in the fall of 2023, and she loves the barn! “It has been such a good thing for me. Horses really are therapy and getting to work outside just makes it better. I am loving all the opportunities to grow in my skills as a horse person and the connections I am making! I am excited to see what the future has for me here.” Aubrey says, “I have a huge passion for working with kids, and I love being able to see how horses can have an impact on the lives of others!”
