Homeschool Programs

All of our riding programs are structured around the same principle: to allow riders to build a holistic foundation of skills and close connection with a horse. We do this by teaching safety, proper riding and horse-care techniques both on and off the horse, how to communicate with your horse, and of course feeding a treat at the end! Our goal is to have a fun and educational lesson every week!

Vaulting

$360 for the semester |
Our Homeschool Vaulting Team is open to ages 5+.  Vaulting combines gymnastics and dance on a moving horse! In addition to being a fun way to work with horses, vaulting promotes balance, confidence, strength and oneness with the horse. It builds horsemanship skills, artistic expression, teamwork, responsibility and more! The horse is guided by a lunger, and the students learn various moves and routines both alone and with a partner at the walk, trot and canter. We have stationary barrels that vaulters use to practice their moves before going on the horse, and although vaulting is spectacular, it is actually the safest equestrian sport! Each One-Hour practice also includes extra lessons such as: horse care, grooming, stable upkeep, horse terminology and more.  There is even a showcase for family and friends at the end of the 11 week session.

Gateway to Horses

$432 for the semester |

Our Gateway to Horses program is specially geared toward Homeschoolers.  Students ages 5+ will enjoy lessons that are focused on how to be well-rounded, knowledgeable and confident equestrians.
With a high instructor-student ratio, offers individual attention and instruction while riders work with our well-trained horses and ponies.  During each 9 week session, students will spend 1 hour per week at the stable.  Half of every lesson will be spent riding in several disciplines (English and Western) and half will be spent on the ground learning countless horsemanship skills such as: safety, how to groom and tack, how to lead, how horses think, basic stable management and vocabulary.

**This course is mandatory for all new students**

Trailblazer - Level 1, 2, 3+

$450 for the semester |

Prerequisite: Gateway to Horses

Continue developing independence, technique, and new skills with the help of our comprehensive Level 1 curriculum. Our small class size (4 students, 2 instructors) ensures personalized attention that helps foster a connection with your equine partner as you work towards achieving rewarding goals.

In Level 2 and 3,  students continue to build on their skill set! Having mastered the basics at the walk, they now tackle these same fundamentals in the trot (Level 2) and canter (Level 3). With each lesson, students become more centered, comfortable, and confident equestrians. Horse care, groundwork, and vocabulary continue to be incorporated into the curriculum to ensure students get a well rounded experience.
